Delete your account
In the app
- Sign in and open any trip.
- Tap your profile, then Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. It happens straight away.
By email
Can't get into the app? Email support@crewpot.app from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm and delete it, usually within a few working days.
What gets deleted
- Your email address, sign-in links and sessions, and any purchase records tied to your account.
- Bank details and profile pictures you added.
What stays
- Expenses, comments and balances in trips you shared with other people, so everyone's numbers still add up. Your name in those trips becomes "Former member".
- Trips you organised stay for the other members, but lose their organiser. If you want a trip gone, delete the trip before you delete your account.
- Reports about abusive content, and records we're legally required to keep.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your App Store (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) settings so you aren't billed again.
